BOSS Foot Attachments
MADE IN THE USA Each heat treated foot is designed to fit a small range of guide diameters in order to provide a snug fit around the guide and maximum "perch" under the bottom lip of the seal. Although primarily designed to extract soft seals such as Teflon, Viton, and Nitrile types, the foot attachments will also remove a large number of conventional type steel jacketed seals. Using these attachments, seal removal can be accomplished even with the head still attached to the engine block.
